Bernard Dunne challenges contenders for the title of Citywest Shopping Centre Wii Boxing Champion while Celia Holman -Lee will get you styled for summer!
To celebrate the start of summer, Citywest Shopping Centre are delighted to bring its shoppers three days of FREE events from 12-14th June. Home to over twenty top retailers including Saint Tropez, Jean Scene, Lifestyle Sports and Dunnes Stores amongst others; Citywest Shopping Centre is celebrating summer with a host of special guests, free talks and demo’s, complimentary hair, health and beauty treatments, food and drink tastings topped off by a full day of family entertainment. And all events are open to the public for FREE! All events take place in the main mall at Citywest Shopping Centre.
Sporting Bonanza with Bernard Dunne
Kicking off the 3 day event on Thursday 12th June, former EBU super bantamweight champion Bernard Dunne will appear instore to challenge a contender to become the first Citywest Shopping Centre Wii Boxing Champion. Appearing from 12pm – 2pm on Thursday 12th Bernard will seek take his fight out of the ring and into the Shopping Centre! To be in with a chance to fight with Bernard Dunne simply complete an instore entry form, available with any purchase at Citywest Shopping Centre. Due to Health & Safety regulations this offer is open only to persons over 18. Proof of age will be required.
To help you get into shape for the big fight, Citywest Shopping Centre has set up a Wii Practice Zone in the centre open everyday from 12-2pm between 9-11 June.
Beauty Inside and Out with Celia Holman Lee
Superstitious? Fear not this Friday 13th June as top stylist Celia Holman Lee offers a stylish alternative to all that testosterone with an appearance at Citywest Shopping Centre to advise the ladies on what’s in style this summer and more importantly what they should be wearing to suit their shape. So whether you’re an apple or a pear come and meet Celia and see what best suits you. Celia will be in the centre between 12.30pm – 3pm.
Once you’ve got the clothes sorted it’s time to get the hair and body in top condition. Free Spirit Hair & Beauty will be onsite offering complimentary treatments as well as showing you how to recreate that salon hairstyle at home. Moving from the water cooler to the cocktail bar? McCabes Pharmacy will be onhand to perform a 10 Minute Makeover to help you move from work to play. Also available will be a host of retailers looking to get you ready for the summer with a range of talks and demo’s such as free health checks from McCabes pharmacy, financial advice from Halifax and EBS, fitness tips from the Educo Gym at Free Spirit, advice from Lifestyle Sports on how to kit out for all that exercise and much more. FAMILY FUN AT CITYWEST SHOPPING CENTRE
Saturday 14th June is family day at Citywest with Children’s entertainment and face-painting from 12-4pm as well as plenty on offer for the grown ups too. Looking to find a new signature dish? Come along to our instore cookery demonstrations and sample the delights on offer. Don’t miss your chance to find the perfect wine to accompany your meal with tastings and recommendations from O’Brien’s Wines while ‘The Streat’ will be on hand to demonstrate how to make the perfect cup of coffee, there’s also financial advice on offer from EBS and Halifax. Once you’ve had your fill there’s plenty to keep the kids amused with an afternoon of free entertainment and activities available including an appearance from Shrek courtesy of Lalloos Digital Centre, face-painting, circus entertainers, giveaways from Samba Soccer, Princess Parties for our younger customers, fit kids demonstrations and much much more.
